Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We pay out approximately 260 billion SEK each year. These are public funds that we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. As a developer at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you are expected to collaborate, prioritize quality, and have a desire to develop together with us.

Frontend, Development, Java

Within the delivery area of Web and App Development, we primarily develop försäkringskassan.se, the FK app, kronofogden.se in collaboration with KFM, and other e-services.

We work exclusively in agile teams with a strong focus on personal responsibility and a desire to continuously improve our operations and the service to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's customers. As a member of agile teams, you are expected to be good at collaborating with open communication where the team's goals come first.

A good user experience is an important part of the work. You are involved in the entire chain of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

You are expected to move from container and application servers to user interfaces and work with the rest of the team on continuous integration, system analysis, system architecture, technical testing, and test automation. Examples of tools and technologies you will encounter include Vue.js, Jenkins, Cypress, Git, Nexus IQ, OpenShift (container platform), Sitevision, OpenAPI, Grafana, microservices, system separation, DevOps, etc.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for you who

• have a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• have the ability to develop software in Javascript/Typescript or another equivalent programming language
• act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
• have a systematic and meticulous working method
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• have good communication skills, both spoken and written
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have

• documented experience of development in a container environment
• documented experience of DevOps work
• documented experience of frontend development with the JavaScript framework Vue.js or equivalent
• documented experience of Cypress or equivalent testing framework.
• documented experience of Java.

A permanent, full-time position, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required.
